20150920_124217Temple Emanuel Religious School offers a rich and meaningful Jewish education for your children.  Our goal is to foster a love for Judaism through teaching values that are relevant to daily life and a source of ethics and life-long spiritual fulfillment. Learning in our school is deeply experiential and makes engaging with Judaism fun and meaningful.

Our school meets Sunday mornings and Wednesday afternoons, with tuition included in community membership at no extra cost.  Judaic Studies and Hebrew are taught simultaneously in the same classroom by the same teacher, ensuring continuity of education.  Our school uses the outstanding Shalom Learning Curriculum, which is structured around the study of seven core Jewish values.  These values are taught through the lens of traditional Jewish texts, prayers, festivals and history, but the bottom line is always the ethical question: How can I employ these values in real life?

Our religious school always welcomes new students and is highly experienced in working with students who have studied very little Hebrew before.  Our state-of-the-art language lab allows students to learn Hebrew at their own pace and at their own level – integrating them with their peers while simultaneously providing them with the individual instruction they need.  Naturally, we embrace people of all ethnicities, sexual orientations, gender identities and family situations as part of our diverse community.
